External ABS Bracket
A simple clamp on bracket to replace defective Anti Lock Braking Sensors, 10 minute procedure instead of 2 hours, no wheels have to be removed.
Never have to pull wheels again to replace an ABS sensor. Fits between the brake shoe and the axle.
Electronics over time do fail, the elements and road debris are a major factor in failures. Maintenance costs are a major factor in a businesses bottom line, lower maintenance costs and increase the bottom line. Up until now the only way to replace a defective ABS sensor was to remove the nuts from the wheel studs, back the brakes off, remove both wheels and then remove the drum just to get at a sensor. If a sensor is seized, then heat has to be used which could potentially ruin a wheel seal costing even more in labor and equipment downtime.
Once a sensor is replaced, the equipment then has to be reassembled. Anytime wheels are removed, a re-torque sticker MUST be applied and a drive MUST stop and have the wheels re-torqued within 150 km or 93 miles.
